SIDAMO
Sidamo was a province in the southern part of Ethiopia, with its capital city at Irgalem, and after 1978 at Awasa. It was named after an ethnic group native to Ethiopia, called the Sidama, who are located in the south-central part of the country. Their major political state was the ancient Kingdom of Sidama.

Guji lies in the Oromiya region of southern Ethiopia. Coffees sourced from this region used to be classified together with Sidaamo, but have since been recognised for their distinct taste profile and characteristics.

Yirgacheffe is a small town of some 20,000 inhabitants which lies within the larger Sidamo coffee producing region of southern Ethiopia. It is famous for its excellent coffees, and the region is considered to be the birthplace of Ethiopian coffee.

Limmu is a rugged, mountainous region stretching from south-central to south-western Ethiopia, part of the Oromiya Zone, that produces primarily washed coffees. The coffee beans sourced here have a distinct roundish shape and green colour, and are medium sized.

NEKEMPTE
Nekemte is a market town in western Ethiopia, lying just over 300k west of Addis Ababa in a region of high rainfall and many hills. Coffee grows in rust-red volcanic soils at altitudes between 1,700–2,200 m.a.s.l. and a typical cup will have a medium body with good acidity, and a fruity finish.
